Welcoming a new baby should be a time of joy, not stress. At Light of Guidance Foundation, we believe that every baby deserves a safe, healthy, and nurturing start in life — no matter their family’s financial situation or background. Our Baby Supplies Program provides essential items to support new and expecting parents who may be facing economic hardship, resettlement challenges, or social isolation. Many newcomer and refugee families arrive in Canada with limited resources, often without access to the baby essentials most parents rely on. Through this program, we offer free supplies such as diapers, formula, baby food, wipes, clothing, strollers, car seats, cribs, and other newborn necessities.

Beyond providing tangible items, our Baby Supplies Program offers emotional and social support. We connect parents — especially mothers — with community networks, parenting workshops, and culturally sensitive guidance to help them navigate early parenthood with confidence and care. For families who may be far from extended relatives or familiar systems of support, this program becomes a vital source of comfort and connection.

Each baby bundle distributed represents more than just a package of supplies — it’s a message of compassion, dignity, and shared humanity. Together, with the help of volunteers, donors, and community partners, we ensure that no parent feels alone and that every child can begin life with hope and love.
