Education/awareness Initiatives

LOG Foundation’s Family Navigator Program:

We recognize that understanding and navigating complex systems is essential to successful settlement, stability, and long-term well-being. Newcomers and refugees often face significant barriers when accessing essential systems—such as education, healthcare, housing, employment, and social services—due to language differences, cultural unfamiliarity, trauma, and limited awareness of available resources.

The System Navigation Program provides individuals and families with personalized guidance, advocacy, and culturally responsive support to help them confidently access and navigate these systems. Our approach is holistic and client-centered, recognizing that education, health, and social stability are deeply interconnected. Our Community Navigator offers guidance, referrals, and advocacy—ensuring clients understand their options and can move forward with confidence and dignity.

How to get support:

  • Schedule a 15- or 30-minute one-on-one appointment with LOGF’s Community Navigator and ask questions, receive clear guidance, and get connected to the right resource
